Ants for Lunch

Mr. Noise has at last convinced Jimmy and Jean that they should stay within the safety of the trading post while he and Fadrill pushes on a river on the trail of Grogon and Scrogon's

who as you remember stole the treasure map belonging to the Brady family. Right now we find it early morning at the jungle trading post. In a little while the explorer and his assistant will start their long paddle up river. Jimmy, Jean, Mr. Noise and Mr. Morton, the trader are at breakfast. Keto is absent. Already he has gone to try and locate a family

monkeys. But today, after Mr. Noise leaves, Jimmy and Jean intend to go into the wild animal catching business in a big way. Let's step into the trading post and listen. You know, it isn't bad at all to be sitting down at a real breakfast table once in a while.

You said it, Jimmy, and real food too. They can have eggs, hmm. Oh, we could supply you with almost anything, Miss Jean. We could have a tapeur steak and Oh, no, no, no, thanks, Mr. Martin.

No, Martin, me for me. Oh, well, Martin, well, I'm gone. You might get Jean's sort of use to real jungle food. The Indian style, eh? George, that's an idea. I can have Keita take both Jimmy and Jean over to his village for lunch some day.

Lunch? Do the Indians have lunch too? Oh, surely. Well, that is, they don't exactly call it lunch, you understand. Oh, but it's about the same. Oh, yes, sir. Just a little pasty smack between me and Sir Tewe.

Well, I don't know whether it would or not. Did you see what I just saw? Mr. Nois and Mr. Martin were wicking in a joke. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh. Oh, so there's a catch to it.
