Battling the Giant Fish

the Amazon featuring Haranoy, world famous explorer in person. Oh, we left off just where Mr. Noise, standing in the bow of the Indian dugout, had succeeded in harpooning a giant piraracu, that enormous fish found in the Amazon River and tributaries.

The struggle to land this big fellow was just about to begin, when little Jimmy Brady, looking back to the shore, sees a large grey something creeping stealthily toward his little sister Jean, who is on the sandbar, watching the struggle with the fish.

The large grey thing is a jockery. A giant Amazon crocodile. Come in that rifle, quickly Jimmy, quickly. Here it is, Mr. Noise. Gosh, don't miss. Please don't miss. Here Jimmy, take my harpoon line. Pass it along to Pedro.

Okay, Mr. Noise. Maybe I can hold the line. Oh, Pedro, steady back there now. Keep this canoe steady. Ah, swing the bar and torch, sure. And that's it. Ah, just let it drift. Everybody sit still.

I'm trying a shot from here. Steady, everyone. You got it, Mr. Neus. You got it. Keep still, Jimmy. Keep still. Jean is not a danger yet. Christ, no. Look at her struggle with you. Man, I'm fleshing around on the sandbar.

One touch with that big arm and tail. It'll be just too bad for Jean. I'll sit tight, everybody. That's that. Jean got a scare, but nothing more. Good thing you were looking back at shore, Jimmy.

Oh, he might have been too late. Oh, that'd be juckity. She's not creep up on any of you, and you're eating them all. That was the very good shots in your noise. You know, it is not the best.
