Hark The Herald Angels Sing

As Director of the Special Services Division, it is a pleasure to speak to you, the men and women of our armed forces, through the medium of V-disks. It is our sincere wish that these records will help to brighten your days and lighten your evenings as you forge ahead to victory.

At this time I want to transmit a special wish from all of us to all of you, wherever you may be. A Christmas wish of good cheer, a Yulthide greeting. As you listen to the fine carols contained on these V-disc records, the folks at home are thinking of you and pray that this Christmas will be the beginning of a new era of peace

on earth good will to men.
