(x) First Song - Papaya Mama

The Alka-Seltzer Show, transcribed in Hollywood featuring radio's favorite singing stars, Padme-Suit, Martha-Till, the music and country watch. It's Alka-Seltzer time, Alka-Seltzer time. Morning to tonight, it's Alka-Seltzer time. I'm good. I'm Arthur. And here we go with the Alka-Seltzer Show.

Turn your pop up, fire. You come home with me Pup, pie, your mama wears a bamboo skirt She dances their foot and her feet don't hurt We drink papaya by a moonlit show And when we kiss, she hollers more and more Pup, pie, your mama Well, I'm pretty juicy Tell you, Pup, pie

You come home with me I came to Cuba for a holiday Pup, pie, your mama took his heart away Vacations over and it's time to go And when they kiss, she hollers no, no, no No, no, no, but I am home Girl, I'm the deep blue sea And you're pah-pah-pah-pah-pah-pah-pah-pah You're coming home with me

My island queen will build a hut for you The floors and doors will be the best bamboo And need to lose the animal above We'll sip the pie and we'll have love love In time we'll raise a little family To play beneath the new papaya tree We'll send my papa fifty cents to God

Cause he'll be a pah-pah-pah-pah-pah Buh-pah-pah-pah-pah-pah-pah Furl of the deep blue sea And your palm, you're coming home with higher mama That's the novelty that's on top of the heap right now Thanks no doubt to Perry Como's bright recording of it Third of all we're mentioning favorite recording stars Could I get in a compliment for Eddie Fisher?

Oh indeed you may Martha What little bouquet would you like to toss Eddie's way? Just my congratulations for his wonderful record of this very pleasant melody Many times Many times, many times I have dreamed we'd be kissing like this.
