What happens
Frank Race, a former attorney turned OSS agent, is drawn into a dangerous case in Istanbul after a woman named Liesl Krüger appears in the rain and asks for help for a wounded American. The men are taken to a doctor, Dr. Amaran, and Frank learns that a shadowy black market has been crippling the continent's supplies. Later, at a Riviera villa, Frank meets insurance man Tony Woolwine, who explains that cargo planes and food shipments have been lost, and Frank is introduced to pilot Chuck Farrell. Liesl describes her brother's death from a worthless drug and urges Frank to protect the coming trains.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
