The episode is an Abbott and Costello program from May 30, 1946, broadcast on NBC and ABC, and it features Joe Kirk, Elvia Allman and Connie Haines.
New York City, in the days before a party at Elsa Maxwell's house

Listen for: Costello's mix-up over the flowers for Elsa Maxwell, and the dance lesson in which Abbott coaches him on his steps
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
