What happens

Bud Abbott and Lou Costello open a matrimonial agency with their seventy-five dollars in savings, hoping to profit by uniting couples in marriage. Their first customers are an assortment of eccentrics, including a widow whose husband vanished seven years ago and a bride's wedding described in muddled detail. Costello's brother Sebastian is pressed into pretending to be a child in a family the partners hope will reassure a prospective client, Miss Pigeon. The episode is a comedy of errors from the Abbott and Costello series, which aired on NBC and ABC, and this episode's original air date was October 26, 1944. Abbott and Costello star in it, with Elvia Allman and Connie Haines also appearing.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
