The Abbott and Costello show aired on NBC and ABC, and this episode is dated February 25, 1948. The broadcast also features singer Connie Haines and Elvia Allman, with the program's orchestra and singing star Susan Miller.

Hollywood, California, at a studio and around the city.

Listen for: Costello's attempts to pick a leading lady for the new picture, and the comic mix-ups that follow.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
