What happens
Bud Abbott and Lou Costello buy a ranch and move into a new house in the country, and the new home quickly proves full of trouble. Costello talks at length about the house's roof and its tile and mortar, and Abbott grows exasperated with him. Their argument over the roof sets up a comedy of misunderstandings. Costello then shops for a bathtub at a second-hand store and hauls it home on top of his car, where a traffic officer stops them. The episode is part of the Abbott and Costello series, first aired on February 11, 1948, on NBC and ABC, with Bud Abbott and Lou Costello as the lead actors.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
