What happens
Lou Costello believes he is hallucinating, hearing a horn that blows whenever he lies or does wrong, and he calls on his friend Bud Abbott for help. Abbott, a steady and practical man, is at first skeptical as Costello's behavior grows stranger. Costello's worries lead the two into a series of comic misadventures involving his bank savings of twenty-eight dollars, a lawyer, and a visit to a professor who examines him. The episode is from the Abbott and Costello series, first broadcast on October 10, 1946, on NBC and ABC, with Bud Abbott and Lou Costello in the leading roles.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
