What happens

Bud Abbott and Lou Costello play two friends who go on a hunting trip in the mountains. Costello brings a mismatched arsenal of gear and boasts of his skill, while Abbott teases him with a string of confused questions about animals and hunting terms. Marilyn Maxwell and Connie Haines join them at the hunting lodge. A game warden tells them a mountain lion has been raiding local farms, and a reward of $1,000 is offered to whoever catches it. Costello is sent into a cave to find the lion, where he meets a strange figure wearing a lion skin.

A mountain hunting lodge and the surrounding wilderness, where a mountain lion has been raiding local farms.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
