What happens

Lou Costello hides out at Uncle Audie Stevens' ranch after a falling-out with his girlfriend, Lena, who has threatened to shoot him. Bud Abbott plays his exasperated partner, and the two trade misunderstandings about bees, honey and a mixed-up can of milk while Lou's rough-edged uncle and the household keep getting drawn in. Lou's stay grows more chaotic as a brawl, an old friend's arrival and a sudden meeting with Lena complicate the situation. This Abbott and Costello episode aired on NBC and ABC on November 15, 1945, with Bud Abbott and Joe Kirk among the cast, and the guest role of Lena is played by Elvia Allman, with Connie Haines also featured.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
