What happens
Bud Abbott and Lou Costello star in this episode of their radio comedy series, first broadcast on November 1, 1945. Lou's character Lucas Dello is invited to a Latin American embassy party, but his plans are complicated by a dispute with a rival, Lena, who wants to be taken along. The episode is full of mistaken identities and misunderstandings, including a comic duel between Dello and a rival named San Francisco, and a series of confused exchanges about relatives, hunting, and a mistaken diagnosis. Connie Haines and Elvia Allman also appear in the cast. The guide covers the early part of the episode, so later developments are not described.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
