What happens
Edward Danton, a misfit who feels out of place in the crowded 22nd century, flees to deep space and settles alone on an uninhabited island world he names New Tahiti. When a group of settlers arrives in a battered old ship, they take him for a native and treat him with suspicion. Danton tries again and again to convince them that he is an Earthman and alone on the planet, but his story is dismissed. Tensions rise between the newcomers and the man they regard as an aboriginal. X Minus One presents this tale of prejudice, from the program that aired on 1957-09-26.
