What happens
On the planet Corella, Earthman Clayton and Narechev set out in a heavy armored land vehicle to repair a water pipeline during a violent windstorm, despite warnings from the native Carillon radioman Smannock. Clayton and Narechev disagree over how to handle the danger, and the natives' attitudes toward the human colony are unclear. The X Minus One series, which aired on NBC, presented this science fiction story on 1957-10-03, adapted from a story by Finn O'Donovan. The cast includes Les Damon as Clayton, Bert Colin as Narechev, and William Griffiths as Smannock.
