What happens
John Drinkhart and his climbing companion Chuck Evers watch mysterious red lights moving across Precipice Peak above a mountain lodge. Wagering on whether the lights are real, they set out at dawn to investigate. Chuck is injured, and John, alone on the glacier, falls into a crevasse, where a stranger named Zell pulls him out. Zell, who says he comes from another world, explains that he and his companions are visitors seeking seclusion from people. Originally broadcast on March 13, 1957, as part of X Minus One, the story is performed by Jim Boles, Joseph Helgeson, and Ted Osborn.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
