What happens
Grafius, a Springfield man, hires private detective Broderick to find a Martian embassy in New York, convinced that Martians have been observing Earth and may plan an invasion. Broderick's assistant Doulan is sent to watch a house on Conquen Street, but he is soon found dead after a strange accident. Broderick follows the trail to the house, where a polite elderly woman and her son offer him tea. The transcript ends with Broderick drugged and facing a sinister group whose plans are not yet clear. The episode is from the science fiction anthology series X Minus One, first broadcast on July 28, 1955, and presented on the NBC radio network.
