What happens
Marsha Foster boards an intergalactic rocket to the moon using another woman's validation papers, having learned that she is pregnant. Her estranged husband, Captain Jack McLean, is the ship's pilot, and their separation has been caused by his space career. Once aboard, she discovers that the stewardess, Susan Egan, is close to Jack. This episode of X Minus One, originally broadcast on April 17, 1956, is an NBC Radio science fiction drama adapted from Ross Rocklin's story in Galaxy Science Fiction, with Bob Hastings and Terry Kane in the cast. The story follows Marsha's choice and the consequences she faces during the flight.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
