What happens
A gypsy woman tells a passerby the story of a young Corsican woman, Jenny Porta, whose family was destroyed in a blood feud. In Paris, Jenny falls in love with Luigi Porta, a hunted soldier hiding in an attic beside the art school where she studies under Mr. Savanne. Her friend Amelia has discovered the secret, and the tension in the household grows as the two lovers plan their escape. The story is told in the Weird Circle series, and the transcript breaks off before its ending.
