What happens
Vic Gookin is preparing to leave on a month-long inspection tour for his employer, Mr. Rubich, and is busy with final arrangements at home. His wife Sade is cleaning up after dinner with him. Vic mentions a send-off planned by the Sybil Club ladies, who intend to throw sawdust and gather at the train station. Vic is uneasy about the fuss, since he is only a confidential secretary traveling with important men. Sade and Vic bicker over the dishes and the planned celebration, and the tension between them grows. The conversation ends with Vic reassuring Sade that they should not let differences come between them before he leaves.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
