What happens

Vic Gook arrives home from the office to find his son Rush sitting at the library table, puzzling over a confusing series of phone calls. Vic's wife and their neighbor Mrs. Stembottom have left for Pontiac, and a message about a man named YY Flurch being in town has passed through several people. Father and son work through the tangled chain of calls, trying to reconstruct who said what and whom they need to reach. The story is part of the Vic and Sade series, and the lead actors are Bernardine Flynn and Bill Idelson.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
