What happens

Vic Gogh comes home at mid-morning with the secret ritual of his lodge, the Sacred Stars of the Milky Way, which he plans to keep safe at home while painters redecorate the lodge hall. He insists the document must stay under lock and key, but the key to the buffet drawer cannot be found, and he keeps moving the envelope to new hiding places. Sade is busy baking and only half listening, and Russell becomes curious about what his father is guarding so carefully. Vic and Sade is a daytime radio comedy, and this episode aired on July 6, 1944, with Bernardine Flynn and Bill Idelson in the lead roles.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
