What happens
Vic and Sade follows the Cook household on an ordinary evening in the small house halfway up the block. Sade has returned a borrowed egg beater to Mrs. Kessler, and the two neighbors quickly fall into a noisy quarrel over the size of Miss Trogo's shoe. Rush, Uncle Fletcher and Vic sit in the living room listening as the argument grows louder and more heated. Mrs. Kessler is sent back for a cup of sugar, and the women keep returning to the dispute. The series is an old-time radio domestic comedy, and this episode aired on 1946-08-22 with Bernardine Flynn and Bill Idelson in the leading roles.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
