What happens

Vic and Sade is a domestic radio serial set in a small house halfway up a block. Mrs. Harris visits Sade and Uncle Fletcher, and the neighbours gossip about strange happenings in Mrs. Donahue's attic. Mr. Gooney returns early from his lodge meeting with news: the Secret Stars of the Milky Way will hold their biennial convention in the city in May 1946. Gooney, who has been named to lead the local chapter, eagerly lists the duties and honours he expects, including a motorcycle, a horse, and a rickshaw. Rush listens and wonders about his own plans, while Uncle Fletcher grumbles. The episode was broadcast on 1945-12-07 and stars Bernardine Flynn and Bill Idelson.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
