What happens

Vic and Sade, a married couple in a small town, learn that their employer, the Consolidated Kitchenware company, is moving its plant to Peoria. Vic has pieced the news together from overheard remarks and secondhand hints, and he is eager to tell his family. Rush and Uncle Fletcher react with surprise and mild skepticism, and the household briefly chases the rumor. Vic later calls the company's office to confirm the news, and the office confirms it. The episode is part of the Vic and Sade radio series, and its lead actors are Bernardine Flynn and Bill Idelson.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
