What happens

Vic and Sade is a daytime serial about a household in a small town, and this episode is set late one afternoon in the living room of Vic and Sade's house. Sade and Uncle Fletcher talk about the arrival of Leland Richards, a boy who will stay with them while his mother travels to Missouri to care for her sick father. Fletcher grumbles about the extra company and about their guest, Spotty, who has been staying for over a week. Sade defends her and tells Fletcher about Leland's situation, his father being away in Washington. Leland soon arrives, and the family settles him in with a friendly welcome. The episode runs under the series' sponsor-free drama format, with Bernardine Flynn and Bill Idelson among the lead actors.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
