What happens

Vic and Russell are at home when Uncle Fletcher arrives with urgent news that Roy Dejectedly has mailed him a secret formula for Hyena Grease. Vic, who is trying to nap, agrees to keep the document safe in his safe deposit box at the People's Bank, and Fletcher insists that Russell stay as a witness. Roy Dejectedly's preparation is described as the finest shoe-smearing compound in the civilized world, and the scene takes on a ceremonial tone as Fletcher hands over the paper.

The living room of the Vic and Sade house in a small town, on a Friday afternoon.

Characters: Vic, Sade, Russell, Uncle Fletcher, Roy Dejectedly

Listen for: Fletcher's urgent manner as he hands over the secret formula, and Vic's reluctant acceptance of the job.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
