What happens

Vic and Sade find a large chunk of concrete knocked out of their garbage box and set out to learn who is responsible. Vic, Sade and their young son Russell first discuss a string of odd news stories, then examine the damage together. They float several suspects, including a neighbor and a little girl visiting next door, and weigh theories about cars, kicks and even lightning. Their search becomes a comic investigation as they pursue each idea in turn. The Vic and Sade series is a daytime radio serial, and this episode aired on July 28, 1944, with Bernardine Flynn and Bill Idelson in the lead roles.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
