What happens
Rush Gook, a high school student, sits at the library table in the Gook family's living room with an algebra textbook but is restless and inclined to quit studying. His mother Sade and father Vic listen as he talks of making a million dollars in business, and his talk turns to planning flower gardens for paying customers. Sade and Vic press him about his study habits, and Rush answers back, defending himself and his plans. Their evening at home brings the family's usual bickering over money, schoolwork and each other's opinions.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
