What happens

Vic and Sade receive an unexpected visit from Edith Suggins, an old acquaintance who arrives at the door while Vic is out and Sade is at home. Edith and her husband Raleigh are passing through on a long drive and stop briefly. Sade is flustered at first, confused about who the visitors are, and the household talks over the caller's family and old memories, including her husband's leg and his business. The conversation turns chaotic as the family tries to recall their past connections, with Sade struggling to place the visitors. The story centers on the awkward reunion and the scramble to remember who everyone is.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
