What happens

Russell Miller, a young boy in the Vic and Sade household, plans a scheme to impress his new teachers. He writes letters resigning from many organizations, claiming he must devote himself to his studies, and he asks to borrow the family's good yellow stationery. Vic York and Sade York listen as he explains he intends to post the letters on the school bulletin board so the teachers will see them. Sade and Vic tease him about his cunning, and the scheme grows as he drafts ever more letters. The series is a daytime radio serial of the 1940s, and this episode aired in September 1943.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
