What happens

Christine McKay, a New York visitor in Crescent Bay, Florida, takes a room at the house of Mrs. Agnes Drake, whose husband Henry Drake is the local police commissioner. Henry Drake insists she is mistaken and that his wife is away in Fort Lauderdale. Christine's doubts grow as she tries to make sense of what she saw. The episode is from The Whistler, first broadcast on July 30, 1950.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
