What happens

David Talbot, a former private investigator, meets his old colleague Frank Williams and his wife Nora on a night train to Los Angeles. Nora and Frank seem to recognize him, and Talbot grows uneasy. Later, in the town of Cutterville, the Williams couple visits Talbot's home, where his wife Anne, the daughter of a missing man Talbot once helped search for, is present. Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
