What happens
Gambler Sam Baxter orders his mistress Irene to leave town and tells her that his younger brother Joe must not see her again. Irene goes to Joe's apartment, where the two of them quarrel bitterly about what Sam wants and about their own future together. Joe is left in a desperate state, and a gun lies on the table between them. The episode is from The Whistler, a radio mystery series, and was broadcast on October 21, 1946.
