What happens

In The Whistler episode Law of Physics, a rainstorm forces advertising man Ross Warren and his client Dexter Brand off a canyon road, and a stranger named Bob Turner soon arrives to help. Turner later offers Ross a partnership in a new agency, and his growing success draws Ross's attention, along with his interest in Brand's daughter Kitty. The story is part of the Whistler series, first aired on June 10, 1951, and it is told in the series' usual style, with the first part of the plot laid out in full. Ross's growing resentment toward Turner builds as the partnership goes on and his personal life gets more complicated.

A winding canyon road in a rainstorm, the offices of an advertising agency, and the small manufacturing town of Lake Town.

Listen for: The telephone in Ross's car, and what it reveals about his alibi.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
