What happens
Tarzan, the jungle lord, follows a sick Congo buffalo deep into the bush country north of Gerahadi, where it leads him to a remote sanctuary run by Neil Mortensen. Mortensen, a former doctor who now treats animals and birds, keeps a laboratory and many caged creatures there. Meanwhile, in an American warehouse, the bird dealer Pierre Rossignol plans a hunting expedition to Africa to replace stock lost to a parrot fever epidemic. Tarzan, from the Edgar Rice Burroughs story Two in the Bush, begins to question the strange stillness of the sanctuary and the reasons behind its isolation. This recap draws on the episode's opening portion, from the buffalo's arrival through the first sign of the dealers' plans.
The Congo jungle and a remote mountain sanctuary north of Gerahadi, and an American bird warehouse in a metropolis.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
