What happens

Professor Porter and his companions wait on a headland after their search for Jane has been cut short. A ship is offshore, and they worry that it may be a pirate vessel. The professor is determined to search the jungle for his daughter, though Phil and Clayton urge caution. Meanwhile, in the jungle, Tarzan is with Jane, who is frightened of him and refuses his embrace. He offers her a knife and then gathers fruit for her, trying to make her understand his meaning. The professor and his group light a signal fire to attract the ship's attention. This episode from the Tarzan series first aired on October 11, 1932.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
