What happens
Tarzan and his companions are escorted by the masked Hesseherian warriors toward the forbidden city of Opar, after the hostile Akhiru has summoned them. On the way, Tarzan saves Akhiru's life by killing a flying serpent with an arrow, and the group rides a magnetic car up the side of Tuanbaka. Inside the crater they find a green valley and a city laid out in strict order. Led through empty streets to a black temple, they are brought before the high priest Sootan, who questions their motives for coming. Helen Gregory and her brother are the people they seek. Tarzan's story is told in the Tarzan radio series, and this episode was first broadcast on June 4, 1935.
