What happens
Tarzan, with his companions Darno, Tom and Larsen, is captured in the Hesseherian palace of King Sutan after reaching the royal quarters through a secret passage. Larsen is killed defending Helen Gregory and Margra, and Tarzan submits to the king's guards on the promise of help from Hakeiru. Helen and Margra are dressed for a double marriage ceremony in the ceremonial hall, where the king addresses his nobles and the high priest Neshm. Tarzan, Tom and Donald, meanwhile, have passed through a tunnel and killed a sabre-tooth tiger, and they now watch the ceremony from a hidden archway. The king accuses Hakeiru of helping the prisoners escape and then sentences Tarzan to a battle against an ape of the sacred tribe. The series is Tarzan, and this episode first aired on June 15, 1935.
