What happens
Tarzan, Dano and Tom break into the ceremonial hall of the temple of Ma'achu to steal the Father of Diamonds, a sacred stone, and are nearly caught by the guardian apes. Their escape brings them into a fight with the Hesseherian guards, and Helen and Margaret are later held in the temple. King Su-10 announces that Helen is to become queen and Margaret the wife of Hakiru. Tarzan and his companions return the stone to Queen Tirah, who sends them through a secret passage toward the room where the women are kept. Instead, the men are led by Hakiru to a dark dungeon, where Hakiru promises to return and show them a way out.
