What happens

Tarzan of the Apes, from the novels by Edgar Rice Burroughs, follows Tarzan and Jane Porter in the African jungle. Professor Porter and his party, searching for his daughter Jane, are captured by cannibals and forced through a trial by poison, which they survive. Meanwhile, Jane shoots a snake that is attacking the great ape Tog, and afterward she and Tog sit together on the platform in the jungle night. Tarzan is the lead in this episode, with Mr. James H. Pierce in the title role and Mr. Joanne Burroughs as Jane Porter. The episode closes with the professor's party planning a way out of captivity.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
