What happens

Tarzan of the Apes, based on the novels by Edgar Rice Burroughs, follows Professor Porter and his party as they search the jungle for his daughter Jane. They are captured by cannibals. Meanwhile Tarzan finds Jane and takes her to the cannibal village to see whether her father is there, and the two are captured as well. Tarzan breaks his bonds, rescues Jane from the witch doctor, and carries her back into the jungle. Among the captives, Captain Belinder and Clayton argue over how the witch doctor's rope is being used against them, while the professor prepares to take advantage of a coming storm. Jane and Tarzan shelter on their platform in the trees as the rain approaches.

The African jungle, including a cannibal village and a tree platform near a cabin built by Lord Greystoke.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
