What happens
Tarzan learns that the Kamiowema tribe is preparing for war against the British garrison at Fort Shabir. He warns the post's officers, Captain Lawrence and the newly arrived Major Beekman, who have few bullets left. Beekman travels to Amdul Mara to buy ammunition, where he gambles away his money and is cheated by a woman named Yolna. Lawrence leads a small force into the jungle to a ruined entrenchment near the Kamiowema village. The episode ends with a desperate attempt to get a message through the enemy lines to Fort Shabir.
