What happens

Tarzan rescues a young French woman, Renee, from a jungle pit, then finds her in the native city of El Reyden at an inn kept by the innkeeper, where the desert sheik Hazara has taken an interest in her. Tarzan confronts Hazara, who insists Renee has come with him willingly, and Tarzan leaves, unsatisfied. Later, a stranded American named Bill tells Tarzan that Renee was his fiancee and that he has lost her trail. Tarzan agrees to help him search, and the two set out into the jungle to look for her.

Characters: Tarzan, Renee, Sheik Hazara, Bill, The innkeeper, Mookie

Listen for: Tarzan's confrontation with Sheik Hazara at the inn, and the conversation in which Bill explains his connection to Renee

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
