What happens
Lieutenant Jacques Cordet, an army officer in Africa, schemes to bring Tarzan to trial after Tarzan killed a white rhinoceros to save a life, a crime under the new conservation law. Cordet forces Tarzan to sail with him back toward the camp, but a storm wrecks their boat. Tarzan survives and finds himself on an island with a young woman named Pamela, who says it is her birthday. The two spend the day together before Tarzan swims to the mainland. This is an episode of the Tarzan radio series, which was broadcast on November 8, 1951, based on the writings of Edgar Rice Burroughs.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
