What happens
In the jungle, Darno and Uka rest by a waterhole after escaping the Torians on an elephant, but the elephant stampedes and leaves them far from their destination, the city of Rator. They take to the trees when a mounted troop approaches and later learn it is a Ratorian patrol commanded by Uka's father, the Shah Nvarator. In the city of Tor, Rutang and his son Vando are chained in the jewel pits with Tarzan and O'Rourke, and Rutang attacks O'Rourke until Tarzan intervenes. Meanwhile, Queen Ataya orders her women searched after her treasure vault key goes missing.
