What happens
In the jewel pits of Tor, slaves are secretly planning revolt against Queen Ataya and her yellow warriors, and the plan is said to involve Tarzan. In Rator, the Shan gathers his warriors to attack Tor, but the chief Timur objects to the campaign. Dano overhears a private meeting between Timur and a guard, learning of a plot to warn Ataya of the coming attack. Back in Tor, Ataya questions the Ratorian slave Kyluk, and Mungo is ordered to bring Tarzan and O'Rourke before the queen as well. Wong Thay offers suggestions while Ataya grows impatient and orders harsh punishment for Kyluk to force a confession.
