What happens
Tarzan and his companions are prisoners of Ataya, queen of the yellow giants in the city of Tor. After Tarzan kills a lion that was set loose in an arena and saves Jeanette and a Ratorian prisoner, Ataya orders everyone taken away under guard. Tarzan then provokes a fight on the city wall, and the guards overpower the group. Meanwhile, Darno and Uka, the Ratorian, slip away and plan to climb down the wall. Tarzan and his friends are taken to a dungeon beneath the central tower, where Ataya's terms are discussed and Tarzan refuses them.
