What happens
Tarzan, Darno, Tholmes and Wolf, along with Margaret and Larsen, enter a vast council chamber in an underground realm to steal the father of diamonds. Wolf opens the golden disc containing the gem, but a giant ape rises from a pit and kills him. Tarzan kills the monster, and the survivors separate in a maze of dim corridors. Tholmes stumbles into a chamber occupied by Queen Taroo, who questions him about the attempted theft and the outsiders who came to take the diamond. Tarzan and Darno hide in a shrine and eventually return to their quarters, where Tholmes is found and the group is reunited.
