What happens

Chris DiAngelo, a small-time crook, hides from parole officer Brannigan in a Bowery mission on Christmas. There he meets Sir Benjamin, a chubby, invisible ghost with hair like cotton candy, who sends Chris on an errand: deliver gifts from a dying boy, Tommy Simmons, to his family. Chris agrees and travels to the Simmons home, where Tommy's mother and sister Linda receive him. This is the Suspense radio drama Yuletide Miracle, starring Larry Haynes and Santos Ortega, first broadcast on December 17, 1961.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
